Viracor Eurofins leads the way in developing and optimizing quantitative, real-time PCR testing for viral load monitoring. We were one of the first to commercialize quantitative, real-time PCR testing for Adenovirus, BK Virus(BKV), JC Virus(JCV) and other important pathogens. Viracor Eurofins employs distinctive assay designs to provide the most accurate, reproducible and sensitive test results. We have extensive experience performing pathogen load monitoring and antiviral resistance assessment for clinical trials.

Viracor Eurofins offers a comprehensive menu of real-time PCR assays for pathogen detection and monitoring. Additionally, we offer antiviral resistance assays, bacterial 16S rDNA sequencing, and other pathogen characterization assays. We have developed nearly all of our real-time PCR and sequencing assays in-house, enabling us to achieve high quality assays and respond rapidly to new clinical and scientific data.

Viracor Eurofins continuously performs surveillance of pathogen gene sequence information and extensively reviews the latest scientific literature in order to rapidly respond to new clinical and scientific information. Most commonly, we refine our assays in response to new mutations conferring drug resistance or natural genomic changes leading to new strains of a pathogen. In the event of an emerging pathogen, such as 2009 Influenza A H1N1, we are able to rapidly develop and validate new assays to enable high throughput detection.
